Tosick A seasoned environmental
educator and naturalist, Anna Tosick delights in guiding children in explorations
of the natural and creative world. She has been teaching children in a variety
of settings for nearly half of her life. Anna holds a teaching credential in both
California and Indiana and is currently pursuing graduate work in Education at
Indiana University. Her graduate work explores alternative forms of education
that support the flowering of eco-literacy in young children. She studied herbal
medicine at the California School of Herbal Studies and taught children classes
at the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium for several years. Anna apprenticed
in the art of flower essence crafting with Catherine Abby Rich. She is mother
to a very curious five year old son and strives to relay her passion for nature

TO ZAZEN - This workshop explains how to do zazen,or Zen sitting meditation,
and offers an opportunity for questions and answers about Zen Buddhism. Led by
Rev Shoryu Bradley ordained priest from Sanshin Zen Community. The practice of
zazen (za: sitting; zen: meditation) is central to the practice of Soto Zen Buddhism.
Eihei Dogen, the 13th century founder of Soto Zen in Japan, called his practice
