Reverend Barbara Carlson is Minister Emerita, Unitarian Universalist Church of Bloomington. She is a member of the Sierra Club and Sycamore Land Trust, Amnesty International, Common Cause, the League of Women Voters, Planned Parenthood, and the local Democratic Women's Caucus. Barbara is a mother and grandmother and an enthusiastic supporter of the goals of Simply Healthy.

Lisa Marie-Napoli, Ph.D., is Operations Director of the Caldwell Center for Culture and Ecology and Adjunct Professor at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. She works as a trainer in leadership development and conflict management and is co-founder of Namaste' Sacred Arts.
Jeffrey S. Miller, M.P.A., is Director of the Caldwell Center for Culture and Ecology and co-founder of the Caldwell Eco-Center. Before returning to the US, he helped start EcoSol; a cooperative market for locally and sustainably produced goods and services at the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
 
Curtis Cantwell Jackson
Formal training began @ 8 years old studying under the Trinity and Royal Schools of music based in LondonEngland. Migrated fromTrinidad in
the mid 80's on a music scholorship to Berklee College of Music. Moved to Bronx New York in 1988 where I worked primarily as a studio musician. Moved to Mitchell Indiana in 2002 and Bloomington in 2005. Presently teaching voice and guitar privately.

In 2007 he released CD's "The Sories Of My Life" & "Songs That Make You Feel This Way"

Anna Tosick A seasoned environmental educator and naturalist, Anna Tosick delights in guiding children in explorations of the natural and creative world. She has been teaching children in a variety of settings for nearly half of her life. Anna holds a teaching credential in both California and Indiana and is currently pursuing graduate work in Education at Indiana University. Her graduate work explores alternative forms of education that support the flowering of eco-literacy in young children. She studied herbal medicine at the California School of Herbal Studies and taught children classes at the Northern California Women's Herbal Symposium for several years. Anna apprenticed in the art of flower essence crafting with Catherine Abby Rich. She is mother to a very curious five year old son and strives to relay her passion for nature and community in her parenting.
 
Patricia C. Coleman, Reiki Seichem Master Practitioner/Teacher, is hostess and producer of the Runcible Spoon
Poetry Series and a member of the Bloomington Storytellers Guild. Founder of Green Dove Network, Inc., and its projects the Indiana Holistic Health Network and Local Food. An educator and visual artist practicing and sharing various forms of art for about 30 years. Currently on exhibit in Wandering Turtle Gallery and various public and private collections including "The Open Book of Peace Words" in the Fine Arts Library of Indiana University (the beginning of Green Dove). She is on the board for the Center for Sustainable Living , and a Worship Associate of the Unitarian Universalist Church . Her work apprears in the Linen Weave of Bloomington Poets, with Matrix , among Poets Against the War submitted to Congress, Poetry Palace 2006 and various literary publications. A member of 5 Women Poets which recently held its its 33rd annual reading. October 25th, she will read in a "Harvest of Voices" and is honored to be a reader during the interfaith service with the Dalia Lama on October 22nd, 2007. She has a chapbook of small forms "Light Hand"
The Gandharvas are a youth performing Kirtan group, led by Sakshi Gopal Das and Pritam Hari Singh, they share the Healing power of Kirtan: Traditional Eastern Mantras and Chants sung for ages for their healing and devotional benefit and meditation. Youthful and Full of SHAKTI (good energy), we promise to contribute a very youthful, enlivening, and loving sound for all to heal, feel, and enjoy~!

Childcare will run congruent with the morning and afternoon sessions and will be closed during lunch. The cost of care is $5 per child for each session; i.e. $5 for the full morning, $5 for the full afternoon, $10 for both sessions.

Spiritual Prophecies and Earth Changes - Lisa-Marie Napoli, Ph.D. and Jeffery Miller, M.P.A. - This workshop is an interactive session designed to explore the legends and teachings behind various Native American, Buddhist, and Mayan prophecies foretelling of earth changes. We invite participants to discuss the teachings, similarities, and differences of the various beliefs - and what these beliefs mean for us today and in our future.

INTRODUCTION TO ZAZEN - This workshop explains how to do zazen,or Zen sitting meditation, and offers an opportunity for questions and answers about Zen Buddhism. Led by Rev Shoryu Bradley ordained priest from Sanshin Zen Community. The practice of zazen (za: sitting; zen: meditation) is central to the practice of Soto Zen Buddhism. 3) SCHEDULING: Presentations will be scheduled Saturday throughout the day between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00 pm. Please specify preferred times and we will work to accommodate you, although this may not be always possible. 4) PHOTOGRAPH: PLEASE ENCLOSE A CURRENT BLACK &WHITE PHOTO (5 "X 7 "or smaller) for inclusion in the Expo Magazine and for possible inclusion in our promotional materials. Photos will remain on file and not be returned. Workshop application will only be accepted with a photo. You may contact up about submitting your image via email. We will not accept email submissions without prior agreement. If agreed, you will be able to submit images as JPEG, PNG, or GIF files between 300 and 600 dpi.

5) AUDIO -VISUAL EQUIPMENT: Microphone(s)and marker-board will be provided for most lectures and workshops. If you will need any additional AV equipment (slide projector, overhead projector, screen, blackboard, microphone, etc.) you must bring your own.
