Green Symposium, 2009. In its 3rd year, over 400
designers, owners, operators and developers will
attend this event at the Indianapolis Art Museum
on March 12th and March 13th.
The theme is "Think Green"
with quality nationally recognized speakers
throughout the program. These include, Ed Mazria,
the architect of both the U.S. Conference of
Mayor's resolution adopting the "2030 Challenge",
the sustainability director for Harvard, a tour
of local LEED® facilities, the past chair
of the national USGBC, Green incentive opportunities
and case studies on some remarkable buildings.
The exhibitor booths will highlight the newest
green products.
Lastly, a separate panel discussion
will highlight the challenges and successes
seen by Indiana cities and towns that are trying
to go green, that will be free to government
employees.
